AKC Canine Good Citizen Class
Our AKC Canine Good Citizen class is designed to prepare dog and handler teams to pass the AKC CGC test. Dogs should have a basic understanding of sit, down, and walking on the leash in order to take this class. We will practice greeting people politely, walking nicely with distractions, sit and down stay at a distance, and much more! On week 7 of the class, all students will take the CGC test as a group.
"Good Dog!" Manners Training Class
In the "Good Dog!" manners class we will work to open the lines of communication between you and your canine partner. We will teach you how to work together with your dog as a team to solve behavior problems and learn basic obedience commands. Whether it's jumping up on people, pulling on the leash, or digging holes in the yard, we will give you the information and tools you need to put an end to your dog's bad habits and create new, more desirable behaviors. Commands taught in the class include, but are not limited to: Sit, Down, Coming When Called, Walking on a Loose Leash, Go To Place, Leave-It and more!
